The ALS Association is the only nonprofit completely dedicated to fighting ALS. The Texas Chapter focuses our resources on helping patients across the state by addressing the entire ALS ecosystem: providing local care to support patients who need help now, advocating for public policy that serves the needs of patients, and investing in research to find treatments and, ultimately, a cure.  YouTube Live Party Celebration

Friday. June 26 at 7:30pm

Join the Party!

In the evening, our generous sponsors will host small, intimate gatherings around Austin to celebrate people with ALS, support their caregivers, thank our clinic staff and recognize the legendary Todd Meyers. The ALS Association of Texas is anticipating at 50% loss, equal to $1.5 million, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This unique celebration is an opportunity to demonstrate your support for the ALS community, and ensure that the vital programs provided by the ALS Association of Texas continue.

To host a party of your own and gain access to unique programming and join the event including a performance by Dysfunkshun Junkshun, contact michelle@alstexas.org to register.

You don't have to host a party to join us online! Feel free to join us on YouTube for some inspiration and a chance to give hope to Texans with ALS.

A Message From Bob Ballou

We made a major change to the UBSGC last year.

We added a P.

While I don’t ever expect the acronym UBSGCP to catch on (Under Ballou Skies Golf Classic and Party for those of you wondering), I do expect to work harder than ever to grow this event for our patients with ALS. That’s why I need you.

We made a big change with the event so we can make a bigger change in the ALS world.

It worked.

We raised $156,000 thanks to the generosity of people like you. People like you who see what their generosity creates for our patients. For our friends.

I'm asking you to help us continue our fight by joining us as a sponsor for this year's 6th annual event. All levels exist and each extremely important in the battle to defeat ALS.

Come golf. Come party. Come make a difference.

While I don't expect the acronym UBSGCP to flourish, I promise we will work as hard as we can to make sure the event does.

Our patients - OUR FRIENDS - are relying on us.
